Blackberry Martini

Blackberry Martini

  • 4 blackberries
  • 1.5 oz Vodka
  • 3/4 oz St. Germain
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  1. Shake ingredients in an ice filled cocktail shaker
  2. Strain into a chilled martini glass.

*This could also be great served on the rocks and topped with club soda.

Cucumber Mojito

I whipped up a batch of cucumber infused vodka and wanted to find some fun drinks to try it in.

Cucumber Mojito 

  • 2 oz cucumber-infused vodka
  • 1 persian cucumber, diced
  • handful of fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar
  • juice of 1 lime
  • club soda
  1.  Muddle mint, agave, cucumber and lime juice in a cocktail shaker for 30 seconds.
  2. Strain the liquid into an ice-filled cocktail glass.
  3. Mix in vodka and stir.
  4. Top with club soda.

Skinny Chi Cocktail

A Chi Chi is a popular Hawaiian cocktail… but with cream of coconut, vanilla ice cream and blue curaçao the calories really add up.  Luckily one of my favorite restaurants – Honu, has created a low calorie and equally delicious option!

Skinny Chi

  • 1.5 oz coconut vodka
  • 2 oz pineapple juice
  • 2 oz coconut water
  • .5 fresh lime sour
  • .5 oz Malibu Black
  • fresh pineapple
  1. Muddle pineapple in the bottom of a cocktail shaker.
  2. Add pineapple juice, coconut water, lime sour and coconut vodka to shaker.
  3. Add ice and shake vigorously.
  4. Strain into ice filled glass and top with Malibu Black floater.

Blossom Breeze

Considering one of my most popular posts is my Cucumber Mint Vodka Cocktail, I figured hitting up the bartender for his secret recipe was a necessity… here you go!

Blossom Breeze

  • 2 oz Square One Cucumber vodka
  • 3/4 oz St. Germain Elderflower liqueur
  • 3/4 oz lime juice
  • 1/4 oz simple syrup
  • Soda Water
  • Edible flower blooms
  1. Shake vodka, Elderflower liqueur, lime juice and simple syrup in an ice filled shaker.
  2. Strain into an ice filled glass and top with soda water.
  3. Stir and garnish with edible flowers (or a slice of cucumber).

Go Red!

It only felt natural to create a red colored cocktail, and with oranges being good for heart health…. I felt this was the way to go!

The “Heart” Stuff (like the Hard Stuff… get it?!)

Serves 3-4

  • 3 blood oranges
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 lime
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • 4 oz vodka
  1. Juice citrus.
  2. Rim glass with lime juice then sugar (with a dash of salt added), if you desire.
  3. Shake juice, simple syrup, and vodka in an ice filled cocktail shaker.
  4. Strain into glasses and enjoy… you’re helping your heart! (kind of 🙂 )
