Still reminiscing about one of the most fun weekends of my life… the weather, the people, the wine… it really was one for the books! A fun maxi dress never hurts my fun factor either – here is what I wore for a day of wine tasting!

I never thought I would be posting a summer dress in the middle of January, but this California weather is a little out of control. During our visit to SLO this past week we were blessed with 80 degree weather, and it was nice to break out some of our summer gear (despite my white legs and toes that haven’t seen the sun in a few months…).

I love unexpected details… and this dress, while assuming from the front has a fun surprise once you turn around.
I love dresses that easily transition… this is a great one no matter the season – pair with tights/boots, sandals and a pony tail, or even tucked into a pencil skirt and heels for work.
I also cannot say enough about this GiGi New York bag (and no, I am not getting paid to say that – sadly). It is super rare that I invest in a purse that I haven’t had on my wishlist for years, but this was an impulse buy that DEFINITELY worked out. The color is so perfect my fall/winter wardrobe… and if you are into navys, olives, cream, white, browns and eggplants, I HIGHLY recommend a purse this color in your repertoire.

I have been coveting the Stuart Weitzman 5050 boot for some time, and Santa surprised me with them this year! I couldn’t wait to put them on, and pretty much only take them off to sleep these days…
The height is great with jeans OR dresses, and leather quality is seriously like butter (I never knew leather could be SO soft). If you are in the market for a boot splurge – these are the ones to make it on…TRUST.
Also this coat is from my mom’s closet, but one that all of my sisters and I are lusting over. It feels amazing and looks so good on! I love when vibrant colors almost work as a neutral because they go with so much… this is one of those items.
