Cranberry Conserve

  • 1 1/2 cups of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of orange juice
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1/2 Tablespoon grated orange peel
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 4 cups of fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup of toasted pecans
  1. Bring first 5 ingredients to a simmer in a heavy pan over medium heat.
  2. Stir until sugar dissolves. 
  3. Add cranberries and cook until berries pop.
  4. Stir occassionally about 5 minutes. 
  5. Stir in pecans and pour into a bowl (I recommend a glass bowl… looks prettier 🙂
