I’ve taken another one of my blogging breaks (thanks for hanging in there with me) and have really enjoyed rebooting my health regimen (more to come on that later!), spending time with friends and getting a few fun trips under my belt. Here are some of the my favorite things from the past few weeks:
Paint night with my girls – we bought our own kits from Amazon!
I went to get my wedding ring fixed and was lucky enough to get to try on this sparkler!
An impromptu happy hour with one of my favorite people
Excited for this gorgeous weather and dining al fresco
The prettiest cheese plate ever that my mom whipped up
7th row for Giants Opening Day… my first ever!
Passionfruit with watermelon – the perfect start to my Sunday
I don’t know why I think this is so funny
My favorite brunch (chilaquiles) at our local spot
Bryce’s modeling debut
The Peter Cottontail cocktail made with vodka, ginger and carrot juice… need to recreate stat.
I find an odd amount of joy from my mani matching a magazine (this is not the first time).
Date morning coffee date with my love in Santa Cruz.
Sunday Funday dinner with our neighbors (yes that’s a pool of butter).
These longer days are putting some extra spring in my step! My daily routine has grown to include enjoying a mug of warm lemon water, juicing (with this baby), and dry brushing, and I love how getting up for my 6am barre class isn’t as painful. I was super inspired by Food Babe’s new book “The Food Babe Way” and Loni Jane’s new eBook “Feel the Lean.” If you are looking for some healthy reading for bikini season, these are some great choices (with awesome recipes). Let me know what you think if you’ve read any of them! Here are some other things inspiring me right now:
Reminiscing about our awesome family vacation in Maui… this pool…
What most of vacation was spent doing (other books on my vacation list were – Girl on the Train, Dirty Rush, On the Rocks and Sharp Objects)
My post vacation diet. JK But seriously these are my favorite thing ever (Icing on the Cake’s Big Top Cookies)
Easter flowers from my love
Dinner at Nick’s with my favorite peps
This year was one of our favorite trips yet… the past couple of years we have gone out of our comfortable “tan/swim/read 500 books” rut and spent a few days devoted to exploring the island (thus only remaining in a “tan/swim/read 300 book” rut). I wanted to share some of our favorite pictures from our trip and include a few of our fun day trip agendas 🙂 aloha!
