Elsie Green Giveaway + Cucumber Lemon Fizz

My girlfriend Kelsey introduced me to the amazing Elsie Green studio and all of their amazing goodies. Elsie Green is a family run company that curates gorgeous, sustainable finds from all over the globe. Hand woven totes from Marakkech? Vintage champagne coupes from a cafe in France? Vintage kanthas made from Indian saris? Look no further.

Each and every piece tells a story, and my favorite part (aside from their desire to work towards a desirable home, and their one of kind inventory) is their amazing partnership with 1% for the Plant – who doesn’t like to do some good and give back will shopping!?

I am so excited for the opportunity to partner with Elsie Green… I love to shop & eat locally, and their company represents that in the most beautiful way possible! Cucumber Lemon Fizz

1/4 sliced cucumbers (I used Persian cucumbers)
1 oz vodka
juice of half a lemon (I used a Meyer lemon)
splash of St. Germain
club soda

Muddle cucumber in a cocktail shaker.
Add vodka, St. Germain, and lemon juice.
Fill with ice and shake until shaker is frosted.
Strain into an ice filled glass and garnish with cucumber slice.

Pickled Nectarine & Burrata Salad

With peach/nectarine season in full swing, I’ve had no choice but to include them at every meal (and in between for snacking of course). While eating them straight away is pretty amazing, I love this spin on pickling them… super easy, and even more delicious.

Pickled Nectarine & Burrata Salad

via Eats Well with Others

2 nectarines, thinly sliced
1/4 small red onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup champagne vinegar
1 tsp sugar
3 huge handfuls of arugula
1 large handful of torn mint leaves
2 tbsp olive oil
8 oz burrata, cut into 1″ pieces

Toss fruit & onion slices with vinegar and sugar. Season with salt/pepper and let marinate for 10 minutes.
Strain nectarines and onion and combine vinegar mixture with olive oil.
Toss greens, mint and vinaigrette together.
Top with nectarines, onions and burrata. Enjoy!
