- 1 1/2 cups of sugar
- 1/2 cup of orange juice
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1/2 Tablespoon grated orange peel
- 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
- 4 cups of fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup of toasted pecans
- Bring first 5 ingredients to a simmer in a heavy pan over medium heat.
- Stir until sugar dissolves.
- Add cranberries and cook until berries pop.
- Stir occassionally about 5 minutes.
- Stir in pecans and pour into a bowl (I recommend a glass bowl… looks prettier 🙂
